Authorities say there apparently is no tie between a man jailed in Post and two unsolved cases in Lubbock.

Santos Mendoza Hernandez is charged with indecency with a child and unlawful restraint. The charges stem from an incident involving a 12-year-old girl in Post.

After Hernandez' arrest, Garza County authorities alerted Lubbock Police that Hernandez may fit the description of a kidnapper given by two Lubbock girls. But Llubbock Police say, so far they have found no connection.
