Authorities Await More Tests Before Giving Lubbock Teen's Cause Of Death - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

NewsChannel 11 has learned the preliminary toxicology report is complete in the death of Thomas Mallory. But, additional tests have been ordered and the results won't be released until those tests are finished.

Investigators hope the reports will shed some light on exactly what happened the night the 16-year-old died. He reportedly took ecstasy at a party in June and became ill. According to police, friends tried to give him a shower and food, and called 9-1-1 when nothing was working.

Once the results are in, doctors will determine a cause of death. The report is expected to be made public as early as next week.
