Lubbock Man Dies In Stabbing

Lubbock Sheriff Deputies were at the scene of a deadly stabbing in north Lubbock County, Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 6:30pm Wednesday at 9616 North Boston. Deputies arrived to find one man with a stab wound to his chest. Aerocare flew him to UMC where he was pronouced dead. 

Details are still sketchy but we do know authorities took a man and a woman into custody. "We have two individuals currently that we're interviewing to try and determine what situation what was the situation out here," said Lt. Cody Scott with the Lubbock Sheriff's Office.

As of Wednesday night, deputies said the two in custody were not considered suspects. Newschannel 11 will continue to follow this investigation and bring you the latest as details become available.

We're also hearing emergency crews received several calls from people nearby who are worried the fire could spread to their homes. There is heavy damage to the outside of the building.
