Stunt Pilot Jimmy Franklin Dies During Canadian Air Show - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A stunt pilot who "wowed" audiences at the Slaton Air Show last month is dead.

Jimmy Franklin died Monday when his 1940 plane collided with a second plane during an air show in Canada. The pilot of the second plane, Bobby Younkin also died.

Franklin and his son Kyle Franklin were the star attractions at the Slaton Air Show. They performed their famous wing-walking act.
