Doctors Selling CD's to Benefit American Cancer Society

Remember our physician musicians? The seven local doctors who played the Christmas blues to fight cancer?

Well, it turns out their CD called "Holiday Blues in Greens" has raised about $22,000 for the American Cancer Society. So, now the group is coming together this Saturday to make more money in the fight against cancer. It's sort of a "Christmas in July" celebration.

The Lubbock doctors will be selling the CDs and signing them at Hastings on 50th Street Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. Again, all the money goes to the American Cancer Society.
