Lubbock Raises More Than $3300 For Children Of Murder Victim

The community of Lubbock helped raise more than $3,300 for the children of a Lubbock murder victim.

The fundraiser, for the three children of Sharon Wade, took place Sunday night at Garcia's Mexican Restaurant. You'll remember, the kids lost their mother and step-father in a murder-suicide on July 5th. The two girls, Jennifer and Sarah, will be heading to the Dallas area to stay with their grandparents. Mark will stay in Lubbock so he can attend South Plains College.

The kids said it meant a lot that the community was there to support them during such a difficult time.
