MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Football season isn't yet underway, but the passion and pride fans feel for their particular SEC team hasn't diminished an ounce.

Jace, an 8-year-old Montgomery boy, was sporting his Crimson Tide jersey Tuesday when he agreed to a quick - and it turns out very interesting - interview.

The Tide fan, who was visiting the Jeff Davis High School football practice when we caught up with him, wants to be a quarterback someday. He's a huge fan of Alabama QB Jalen Hurts.

"He's the goodest player," in Jace's analysis of Hurts. "I give him half of the credit," he went on," but I should be giving him all the credit because he's the one who does stuff."

Clinching his bag of potato chips and swinging his arms with passion, the adorable elementary school student is all in with 'The Process'.

"They're the No. 1 team in the United States of America.

Throw those hands up and yell it, Jace. "Roooll Tide".

Football time will be here soon.
