Texas Tech is still in the running for the George W. Bush Presidential Library.
Tech is one of at least three schools that received a letter of proposal. That means presidential advisors have issued the criteria for the library and Tech can bid on it but right now the school is not actively pursuing a bid. It would cost $200 million to build the library.
Southern Methodist University and Baylor University also received proposals.
