Lubbock Man Struck By Car While Walking On County Road - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One Slaton woman's drive home nearly cost a Lubbock man his life.

Around 6pm Tuesday afternoon, James Ross Junior was struck by a car, while walking in the middle of County Road 6700. DPS Troopers say 60-year-old Virginia Grizzell tried to avoid Ross but ended up swerving into his direction.

EMS took Ross to Covenant in critical condition. He is now stable.
