An escapee is in custody thanks to a joint effort by Lubbock Sheriff's deputies and Lubbock Police.
Michael Lee Fulton ran while at a Child Protective Services hearing at the Lubbock County Courthouse Friday. On Wednesday afternoon, authorities found Fulton hiding under a bed in a 34th Street apartment between University and Avenue Q. They say he put up a small struggle, but they arrested him and brought him to the Lubbock County Jail.
Before his escape, Fulton was at the Lubbock County Community Corrections Facility on a parole violation.
