A murder suspect must confess to shooting his common-law-wife on the stand before his plea agreement can be accepted.
Christopher Salinas will get to make that confession in a Plainview courtroom on Friday. If a judge accepts that confession, he will be sentenced to 30-years in prison for shooting Mijoy Sierra.
The 22-year-old was found dead in her Plainview home in August of 2003.
