State lawmakers are expected to vote on a school finance plan Wednesday night, but they won't have time to decide on how to fund that plan.
State Representative Carl Isett told NewsChannel 11, legislators have agreed on a $2.4 million education bill. It includes a teacher pay raise. "I certainly think that it lays the framework that can continue to have our schools funded at a level that they need to be funded to succeed," said Representative Isett.
Isett expects Governor Perry to call a special session because if passed, the bill is only effective, if they can decide how to pay for it.
