VIDEO: Tornado tears through MS

PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

A tornado touched down in the City of Petal Wednesday around 11:45 a.m.

Damage was reported in downtown Petal on Central Avenue. 

Trees were reported down throughout the city. 

Several businesses received major damage, including several roofs ripped off the buildings. 

The 3D school said that debris is in their parking lot, but all kids are safe and there is no damage to the building. 

There is also reports of a tree on a home and a car. 

No injuries have been reported.
