(KCBD) -

This week's KCBD and WesTex Federal Credit Union Pay it Forward involves a touching meeting between a woman involved in an accident and one of the first responders on the scene.

Matt Hixson nominated Kecia Osby for Pay it Forward after she lost her home on Redbud Avenue in early August. A vehicle crashed into her parked car outside her house, forcing both cars to go into the house and catch on fire.

Osby and her family have since relocated to a new home, but they are still in need of basic items like towels, kitchen utensils, and sheets. WesTex Federal Credit Union donated a basket full of home supplies and gift cards for Osby to refill her home.

Hixson says this is very special for him because as a firefighter he rarely gets to follow up with the families involved in these incidents.
