Lubbock Teen's Family Considers Civil Suits In Son's Death - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The reported drug-related death of a Lubbock teen may spark several civil lawsuits.

16-year-old Thomas Mallory died in June after an apparent Ecstasy overdose. Monday NewsChannel 11 talked to the family's attorney, Jonathan Stark. He said the family is considering civil action against the person who reportedly gave their son the drug and the local doctor who reportedly was contacted the night Thomas took it.

Meanwhile, the family is waiting to learn their son's official cause of death. The Lubbock Medical Examiner is expected to make a ruling Tuesday.
