Texas House Rejects School Funding Bill

Late Tuesday afternoon, the Texas House rejected its school funding bill. NewsChannel 11 spoke to Representative Carl Isett who said he voted against the bill after a late addition to it that would have limited the amount of property tax relief lawmakers could provide. Isett said the addition would have also resulted in a tax increase. He said the House will either create another bill or wait and see what comes out of the Senate.
