The streets were slick Wednesday afternoon when a man crashed into a guardrail.

The driver of a Mustang was driving up the I-27 ramp to get on 50th Street when he crashed into a guardrail. The car jumped the rail and slid down the embankment. The driver was thrown from the car and ended up underneath it.

EMS took him to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.
