It took a Plainview jury two hours Wednesday afternoon to sentence a man to life in prison.

Damon Gonzales must also pay a $10,000 fine. Last week, Gonzales pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing his wife Josephine. Gonzales was reportedly depressed after Josephine filed for a divorce. The couple had five children together.
