Lubbock Cooper ISD Allows Cell Phones After School

This year, Lubbock Cooper ISD is allowing students to have some use of cell phones and beepers.

Board members decided at their meeting on Thursday night that students could bring the devices to school, as long as they remain off during class. They are also required to keep them out of sight. Board members say the purpose of this policy is to give students a way to reach parents after school.
