Funds For Sharp Freeway Included In U.S. Transportation Bill

Construction on the Marsha Sharp Freeway is well-underway, but Congress is still trying to pay for it.

Friday, the House passed the Transportation Bill which includes more than $12 million for the freeway. That money would help pay for the final two phases.

The Senate is expected to vote on the bill Friday night. If it passes there, it will go to the President's desk.
