Police Investigate Weekend Murder

Lubbock Police continue to investigate a fatal stabbing that happened early Sunday morning.

Police say a woman was stabbed to death at around 3:30 Sunday morning at 1303 65th Drive. Police have released few details surrounding this incident. Police have a suspect in custody. Timothy Uddley is in the Lubbock County Jail Monday morning. Police Say Uddley was on his way to Plainview when he was arrested by the Hale County Sheriff's Department on Sunday.

At this point we are uncertain if the 28-year-old has been charged with the woman's murder. Police are investigating the incident as a homicide and have not released any information about the victim. We are told this could be a case of domestic violence. If so, this would be the third domestic murder this year.
