Lubbock Police Investigate Central Lubbock Shooting

Lubbock Police are investigating a shooting that happened in central Lubbock, Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the area near 44th and Avenue Q, where a man in a parked car told police that his cousin was shot during a dispute. The 16-year-old male was taken to Covenant Medical Center by a private vehicle. He was treated for a gun shot wound to the lower back.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
