Lubbock County Courthouse Evacuated - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Alarms sounded at the Lubbock County Courthouse Tuesday morning, sending dozens of people into the street.

Firefighters arrived just after eight o'clock and found smoke in the lobby. It was coming from a courthouse elevator that had apparently malfunctioned. Courthouse employees were allowed to return to work about 30-minutes later.
