Tax Free Shopping Begins In A Few Hours

Get your shopping lists ready. Tax-free weekend begins in six hours. The sales tax holiday starts Friday at 12:01 a.m. and runs through Sunday.

Clothing items under $100 will not be taxed. So, for every $100 you spend, you save about $8.

All clothing items including coats, pajamas, socks and most shoes are tax-free. But, school supplies, sports equipment, fabric, and jewelry are not tax-free.
