Workers Give Lubbock Wind Turbine a Test Run - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Lubbock's largest windmill is up and nearly running. Friday workers at the American Wind Power Center performed a test run on their 23-story wind turbine. While the propellers are working, the turbine is not generating power yet. Workers began piecing the structure together last week. They hope to have it operating by next week.
