The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce wants to meet with officials at Texas Tech to discuss the issue of moving the A&M game to Dallas.
NewsChannel 11 obtained a copy of the letter the chamber sent to tech President Jon Whitmore Wednesday. It reminds tech about a survey the chamber conducted in June, which indicated that 90 percent of those who responded were against that game leaving Lubbock. The letter also says the chamber board of directors would be eager to visit with President Whitmore about the issue.
Meanwhile, Texas Tech regents are scheduled to meet Thursday. But the A&M game is not listed on their agenda.
