Lawmakers Adjourn to Review School Finance Plan

Nine days remain in the special session in Austin and there's still no resolution on school finance.

The full Texas House and Senate have adjourned until Tuesday. The House will look over their latest plan but House Speaker Tom Craddick is not optimistic. "We don't have the votes. I'm just saying we are trying to see if they are out there," he said.

The special session ends August 19th.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
