Gonzalez Proposes Resignation

Duty for his country may cost former Interim Lubbock City Manager Tommy Gonzalez his job. Gonzalez is proposing his resignation as city manager of Harlingen. He has been serving in Iraq since April and now expects the Army Reserves to deploy him again. The city of Harlingen has not paid Gonzalez during his deployment.

Friday, officials there will consider the resignation.
