Lubbock Honors Artist With Street Name - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

You can view her sculptures, and now you can drive down her street.

Friday the City of Lubbock renamed a portion of 8th Street "Glenna Goodacre Boulevard," in honor of the artist. She's a world renowned sculptor with projects across the nation and right here in Lubbock. The name change affects 8th Street from Avenue Q to University.
