19-Year-Old Struck By Jeep At 34th, Slide Intersection - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Paint marks the spot where a 19-year-old Lubbock man nearly died trying to chase after his girlfriend. It happened around 7 o'clock Friday evening at the intersection of 34th and Slide. Police say the girl tried to get a ride with someone else. As he tried to get her out of that car, police say the man fell on to the street and was hit by an oncoming Jeep. The man was taken to UMC in critical but stable condition.
