Move-in Day at LCU

It was move-in day at Lubbock Christian University, and the freshman got a little bit of a surprise. LCU president, Dr. Ken Jones, as well as other faculty and staff were hand to personally greet the newcomers and lend a hand in moving their belongings to the residence hall. It's a long-standing move-in day tradition at LCU.

"It's a wonderful time of the year for us, and all of the faculty and staff and administration helping our freshman move in is part of the LCU culture. We're delighted to be here," Ken Jones, president of LCU, said. The freshman kicked off orientation week Saturday after moving in. Get Oriented or "GO" is led by upperclassman and staff and is designed to introduce first year students to campus life before classes begin.
