LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock man has been sentenced to 10 years probation after crashing his truck into a home, injuring four people.

Michael McKay, 34, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury for the June 2015 crash.

Court documents say McKay was drunk when he crashed into the Reyna family home at 93rd and University around 11 p.m.

Michael and Celeste Reyna were sleeping in their bed beside their oldest son. Their youngest son was in his crib in the corner when a truck rammed through their wall.

Michael Reyna remains paralyzed from the waist down. Fortunately, the children only suffered minor injuries.

If McKay fails to meet the requirements of his probation, he will be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
