The death investigation of a Lubbock teenager is expected to go before the grand jury in two weeks.

The District Attorney's office hopes to present its investigation on Thomas Mallory's death on August 30th. Autopsy reports confirm the 16-year-old died of an Ecstasy overdose. Police turned the case over to the DA's office without any charges or suspects.

Meanwhile, the Mallory family attorney is conducting his own investigation ahead of a lawsuit which he says he plans to file.
