FFA Convention Returns To Lubbock In 2008 - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

They're coming back! The FFA convention will come to Lubbock in 2008.

Late Wednesday afternoon, the Visitors and Convention Bureau learned Lubbock has been chosen to host the 2008 convention. 8,000 high school students came to Lubbock last month for the 2005 convention.

It's estimated the area brought in $5.5 million from hotel sales.
