Fire Causes Thousands Of Dollars In Damage To Lubbock Home

Four adults and four children are staying with friends after fire damaged their home overnight.

The fire started around midnight at a house in the 1800 Block of Bates. Firefighters were able to put it out quickly, but the house sustained about $2,000 - $3,000 in damage.

The cause is now under investigation.
