Inmate Remains On The Loose

DPS in Lubbock continues to help with the search Friday morning. 29-year Tommy Pina escaped from The Dickens County Jail Thursday afternoon. Dickens is just 60 miles East of Lubbock.

DPS officials believe Pina is in a black Chevy Crew Cab with a grill. Texas license plate number: 57LTS2. Pina is 6'1 and weighs 170 pounds. You may recognize him by tattoos on his chest, left leg, and left shoulder. Officials believe he is armed with a shotgun and is considered dangerous.

If you see Pina, officials urge you to call 9-1-1 or DPS. That number is (806) 472-2700 . Officials tell us Pina has family in Spur and Lubbock. He may be on his way to the Dallas area.
