Harris was in possession of one pound of crack cocaine and several firearms. Officials say the cocaine has about a $35,000 street value. Harris' arrest comes just days after two other drug busts in Lubbock. This past Tuesday D.P.S. recovered more than $50,000 in cocaine and drug paraphernalia at a house near 45th and University. 21-year old Tyrone Nash was charged for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and felony possession of a firearm.
Then on Wednesday narcotics officers raided a home on East Baylor. The officers arrested three people there. 25-year old Darron Moore was charged for outstanding warrants, and evading arrest. 20-year old Terrance Hastings was also charged for outstanding warrants.
The home owner, 45-year old Charlotte Williams, was charged for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Harris is currently being held at the Lubbock County Jail and charges have not been filed at this time.
