2004 Lubbock Murder Case Goes To Trial Tuesday - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man claims self-defense and Tuesday jurors will start deciding whether that was the case.

Robert Lang is charged with the March 2004 murder of Johnny Lee Smith. He says he shot Smith at an East Lubbock apartment complex in self-defense. But police say Lang's story conflicted with witness reports.

A jury was seated Monday and testimony should begin Tuesday.
