Levelland Mother Goes To Trial For Death Of Her Daughter - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Levelland mother accused of killing her infant daughter will go on trial Tuesday.

Angela Zamora is charged with the July 2003 murder of 1-year-old Melanie Rodriguez. Zamora was 18-years-old when she attended her daughter's funeral. At that time, her boyfriend was suspected in the murder. But four months later, a Hockley County Grand Jury indicted Zamora.

We still don't know the circumstances surrounding the infant's death but we do know she died from blunt force trauma.
