North Lubbock Stabbing Sends Man To Jail, Woman To Hospital

A domestic argument turned violent in Lubbock Tuesday morning, sending one woman to the hospital.

The incident happened just after 3 a.m. at a home in North Lubbock. Police say 32-year-old Domingo Riojas stabbed his common law wife, 21-year-old Mary Villegas, just under her right ear. She was treated at University Medical Center, and later released.

Meanwhile, Riojas remains at the Lubbock County Jail charged with aggravated assault.
