Congressman Neugebauer Reads To Lubbock Children

The Red Raider Reader program is getting 1,000 new books thanks to Scholastic.

Tuesday, Congressman Randy Neugebauer started reading some of those books to children at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. Neugebauer supported the "Reach Out And Read" program by securing $10 million in federal dollars. The program provides volunteers to read to children as they wait for their pediatric check-ups.
