The annual Home and Garden Show kicks off this weekend

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The West Texas Home Builders Association's 2018 Home and Garden Show kicks off on March 2nd. 

The event will feature more than 100 booths for guests to see the latest trends in residential construction, remodeling ideas and services as well as landscaping tips and partners.

The tickets for adults are $5 and $2 for kids 12 and under. 

If you plan on attending a Texas Tech sporting event this weekend, show your tickets at the door to receive $1 off admission.

The show will be open on Friday from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The annual event is taking place at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

Kids ones can compete in a Lego Home Building contest sponsored by Betenbough Homes.
