SMYER, TX (KCBD) -

Two people have been taken to the hospital after a one-vehicle rollover on TX 114 near Smyer.

Troopers on scene tell us this older model Suburban was westbound on 114 through Smyer when it had a blowout. The blowout caused the vehicle to crash and roll over.

The driver has been identified as 22-year-old Micaela Velasquez from Levelland. The passenger has been identified as 26-year-old Genna Montantez, also from Levelland.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. Both were transported by ambulance to Covenant in Lubbock with incapacitating injuries.

Eastbound and westbound traffic is being diverted onto the access road in Smyer to get around the wreck.

DPS says the investigation is ongoing.
