LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock's High's James Brady signed to play college football at Trinity University in San Antonio at a signing ceremony on Wednesday morning.

He had other offers, but he knew Trinity was the spot for him.

"Trinity just felt like home. Coach Urban and his staff made it feel like home. He is a man of immense moral character. I'm excited to go down there and play for him. Wonderful academics. Second best school in Texas, I don't care what anybody says so I'm excited."

He was thrilled to sign in front of all of those who supported him.

"It's really a blessing to be able to sign in front of my friends and my teammates. The mock trial team is here. The football team is here. The coaches will be here. It's a blessing. I'm so grateful. This is a day for everybody who has helped me alone the way on my journey."
