NewsChannel 11 has obtained the 911 tape from the night a Lubbock business man took the law into his own hands.
Dale Rowin, owner of Tom's Tree Place Maintenance, suspected someone was stealing diesel fuel from his tank and set up surveillance a few weeks ago. He called 911 as soon as he found something.
"We're sitting out here waiting for this guy to come and steal gas and we caught him tonight, ok," said Rowin.
"Stay on the phone and I'll get you some help. Is it you and just somebody else? who all is there?" said the 911 operator.
" Me and one other guy's got him cornered up. We've got shot guns on him and we're waiting on police right now," said Rowin.
After Lubbock Police arrived they arrested Brandon Hogue. He's charged with burglary of a building.
