(KCBD) - I started I Beat Pete back in 1995 and tonight is my 900th challenge.

We headed out to Sweetwater to race rattlesnakes.

The 60th annual rattlesnake roundup will be from March 9-11 at the Nolan County Coliseum in Sweetwater.

We were supposed to race in the Mustang Bowl but it was too cold so me moved inside the field house.

Sweetwater Football Coach Ben McGehee just finished his first season 10-3 with the Mustangs. Now he was guiding a rattlesnake in his fieldhouse.

The Rattlesnake Roundup generates over $8 million dollars to the Sweetwater, economy according to their Chamber of Commerce.

This town of 10,000 sees 30,000 people in Sweetwater during the Roundup.
