Rising Gas Costs Lead To Increase In City's Charge For Solid Waste Collection

Rising gas costs are now sending up the price of your trash collection. Thursday the Lubbock City Council approved an $0.85 increase for solid waste or trash service. That means the fee will now be $11.75 a month. You will see the increase on your LP&L bill, October 1st.
