No. 2 LCU rallies to win in final seconds

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Caitlyn Cunyus scored 5 points in the final 30 seconds to lift top-seeded LCU  to a 61-59 win over 4th Seeded Angelo State in the South Central Regional Semifinals.

Down 4 late, Cunyus hit a 3 with 30 seconds left and then made a layup with 14 seconds left to give LCU a 60-59 lead.

Tess Bruffey then made two huge blocks down low in the final seconds to seal the incredible comeback.

The Lady Chaps have now won 49 games in a row at home at the Rip Griffin Center.

The 30-1 Lady Chaps now meet West Texas A&M in the South Central Regional Final Monday night at the Rip Griffin Center.

The winner moves to the Elite 8 in South Dakota.
