No. 3 Red Raiders beat No. 5 Kentucky 5-3

(KCBD) - The Red Raider baseball team ended its two-game skid and prevented the sweep, as they defeated Kentucky 5-3.

In the game, the Red Raiders plated three runs in the second inning and never gave up the lead after that.

Where they had eight hits and left eight runners left on base.

Caleb Kilian got the win for the Red Raiders, but Dylan Dusek came in late and tossed three solid innings of work.

With this win, Texas Tech is now 15-2 on the season and will stay in Kentucky to play Louisville in a two-game series starting Tuesday.
