LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Police say they have located 41-year-old Arthur Moore Junior, who they say is a person of interest in the murder investigation of 30-year-old Matthew Pickett. He is the second person arrested in the case. Trayvion Deshawn Caro, 19, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with murder.

Lubbock Police were called to 1314 65th drive, just before 8 p.m. on Friday, March 9th for reports of criminal mischief.

While officers were on the scene, they were flagged down by family members of Pickett, who were conducting a welfare check on him at the time. Officers then found Pickett and saw he had been shot.

The arrest warrant for Caro states the "video camera over the front door depicts in high definition, the murder of Matthew Pickett."

The warrant says Pickett was dog-sitting for his family members and was inside their apartment. The video shows Moore come and go from the apartment, and a few minutes later Caro arrives and goes into the apartment. "Several minutes later, an explosion out of the front window is captured on the camera. This would be the bullet that was fired from Matthew's apartment and struck the upstairs window," said an officer in a police report. Caro is then seen leaving the apartment and running from the scene.

Caro is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond charged with murder. Arthur Moore Jr. is also being held behind bars for questioning in relation to this case.

The Lubbock Police Department asks that anyone with information, or knowledge of the events that happened that night to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
